Safety and Quality Improvement Guides have been drafted for each of the 10 National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. The Guides are primarily intended for use by those directly involved in the provision of clinical care,  and have been designed to assist health service organisations to focus their quality improvement activities within the framework set by the NSQHS Standards. They include key tasks, suggested strategies and possible outputs for each of the Standards.

Feedback and online survey

These Guides are draft only and before being finalised, need to be reviewed by users. Consultation is now underway and the Commission is seeking your feedback.

Please review the Guides applicable to your organisation and provide us with your feedback via the Safety and Quality Improvement Guides online survey by Friday 24 August.

Your feedback on these Guides is crucial in ensuring that the final resources are relevant and useful for you in implementing the Standards.

The survey will take approximately 5  minutes to complete and does not ask for any identifying information.

Email and written comment will also be welcome, and these may be published on the Commission’s web site. Please indicate in your response if you do not wish for your comments to be published.

Consultation closes on Friday 24 August 2012.

Written comment should be marked ‘NSQHS Standards Resources Consultation’ and sent to:

GPO Box 5480
