Accreditation Workbooks

Accreditation Workbooks have been developed for hospitals and day procedure services.  The Workbooks have been designed to provide information on the process of accreditation, such as applying for not applicable items, checklists and tools needed for self assessment.  The Workbooks are written to assist quality managers responsible for managing the process of accreditation.

Feedback and online survey

These Workbooks are draft only and before being finalised, need to be reviewed by users. Consultation is now underway and the Commission is seeking your feedback.

Please review the Workbook applicable to your organisation and provide us with your feedback via the online survey by Friday 24 August.

Your feedback on these Workbooks is crucial in ensuring that the final resources are relevant and useful for you in implementing the Standards.

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete and does not ask for any identifying information.

Email and written comment will also be welcome, and these may be published on the Commission’s web site. Please advise if you do not wish for your response to be published.

Consultation closes on Friday 24 August 2012.  Late submissions will be accepted.  However, the time available to consider your comments may be limited.  Applications are encouraged by the closing date.

Next steps

Following the consultation process, the resources will be finalised and published on the Commission’s website by October 2012.
