A separate Safety and Quality Improvement Guide is being developed for each of the 10 NSQHS Standards. They include key tasks, suggested strategies and possible outputs for each of the Standards.
Although the Guides are mainly designed to assist hospitals and day procedure services, they may also be useful for public dental clinics until dental specific resources are developed by the Commission and the ADA.
The Guides for Standards 1-6 are available in draft form below. Please note that they are being revised following public consultation and will be published in final format in October 2012.
