Public dental services Step 6: Gathering evidence

A Guide for Public Dental Clinics is being developed and is expected to be finalised in December 2012.  This will build on the information and feedback received on the consultation draft Guide for Dental Practices – July 2012.

A Guide for Public Dental Clinics will provide examples of evidence that can be used to demonstrate the Standards have been met and additional resources to assist public dental clinics prepare for accreditation. It will also be aimed at those responsible for coordinating accreditation processes. This may be a principal dental practitioner or quality manager who is responsible for supporting improvement activity in a public dental clinic and collating the outcomes of these processes for accreditation.
